Double-click the installer. Accept the defaults. GlyphFex will appear in your Start menu.
File → New Project. Choose where to save your .glyphfex file. Pick an industry template or start blank.
The template sets up default stages. Customize them in Tools → Edit Pipeline. Add or remove stages to match your workflow.
Click "New Entry" (Ctrl+Shift+N). Fill in the ref number, customer, and details. Save it. Your first job is being tracked.
Switch to Dashboard (Ctrl+1) to see your entries in card, table, or timeline view. Apply filters, check analytics, and explore.

Start with the solo .glyphfex file. When your team grows, use the built-in migration wizard to move to SQL Server Express (free from Microsoft). Same interface, shared across your whole team on your local network.

Nothing — your data stays exactly where it is. You can still view, edit, and export all existing entries. You just can't create new ones past the 50-entry limit until you purchase a license.
GlyphFex is a new application without a code signing certificate yet (coming soon). Windows SmartScreen may show an "Unknown Publisher" warning. Click "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed. The installer is safe.
The trial can be installed on as many PCs as you like. For paid licenses: Solo is for one machine, Team licenses are per-seat. Viewer seats are always free and unlimited.
